Top Note Santa and Reindeer Tags

Today I'd like to share another top note box..Santa!  I love how this turned out!

His face and beard are the top note, and his hat is half of the small pennant die.  I used my scallop border punch to create the trim for his hat and circle and ovals for everything else.

Now for the contents..I made cute reindeer tags using what else..the owl punch!
Here's a close up of the tag.

I used one of the snowflakes from the set of 4 die cuts to make the antlers and used Sparkly and Bright for the greeting.

Thanks so much for stopping by..please come back again to check out more of the Big Shot creations that I'm working on.

Penguin card set

Tonight's share is a top note penguin box.  It holds a set of 4 cards with the penguin made from the owl punch.

This box is so cute and can be used for a number of cute little gifts.  Today I chose to put a set of 3x3 cards in it, since I am addicted to making penguins with the owl punch!

This whole project comes together quite quickly and makes a great gift.  I have a couple other top note character boxes in the works that I'll be posting next, so come back for a visit.  Thanks so much for looking at my artwork, I appreciate it!

if you need supplies to make your own penguin top note box and cards, you can shop on my Stampin' Up! website.

Penguin Pencil Holder Tutorial

Today's share is all about pencil holders.  I think this is such a cute idea...it is super versatile, you can use it for any holiday or event.

Here' a quick tutorial on how to make this cute pencil holder.

Start out with a piece of card stock measuring 7 3/4"  x  4 5/8" .  Score the 4 5/8" side at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".

I stamped my snowflake background with a stamp from Serene Snowflakes.

I used the white gel pen to add life to the snowflakes.

I used a sponge to add white craft ink to make it look like snow on the card stock.

To assemble the pencil holder, add sticky strip to the slender area created by the scoring and the bottom.

Here it is assembled.

I used my crimping tool to add dimension to the bottom.

I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to make a half circle at the top.

I added let it snow with a stamp from Punch Pals.

I stamped and colored in the penguin from Punch Pals using my versa marker and stamp pads.

Here is the completed pencil holder with ribbon and all the finishing details.  It is really easy to make, and you can make a lot at once of you need to for a party favor or an event.  Here is another one I made using my penguin made from the owl punch.

I love this one, the red really stands out against the crumb cake card stock.  If  you need supplies to make your own pencil holder, you can shop on my Stampin' Up! website HERE.

Thanks for stopping by to see my pencil holders.  I have been working on lots of Christmas items and other goodies that I will be sharing in the days and weeks to come.  My next share will be more about penguins...I am just loving penguins this year!

The last festival pictures

Today I'd like to share with you the last pictures from the festival.  This first one is a bookmark set, it is a chipboard and ribbon bookmark and a matching gift card.

I also had a butterfly set that I forgot to take a picture of and it sold out, so I have to make more to show you another time.

Here is a group of fun snowman cards.  I did the same design in 4 colors.

Here is an up close picture of one.

The card has the snowflake embossed from the Norther Flurry embossing folder, a little bit of ribbon, and shimmer spray added for a final touch.  These were fun to make and everyone really liked them.

These are the last 2 pictures of my table.

These are the Halloween pencil holders, they are always a big hit.  I don't have an up close picture of them, but you'll see a Christmas version later.

This shows the front of my table, it had the pricing info in the center.  I have done individual tags on each item in the past, but didn't for this outside event.  I am glad too..we had a windy day and all my tags would have been gone!

I hope all the festival pictures have been useful for those of you doing your own shows.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Don't forget to check out the CLEARANCE RACK and place an online order HERE before it ends on Monday!
