It's Monday!

It's Monday already, boy did the weekend go fast!  I hope everyone had a Happy Easter.  We really enjoyed a nice weekend with family, but it went too quick!  Well, today we are back to our regular schedules, so it's time for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  Here is the great sketch Mary Jo gave us to work with this week.

This sketch was a challenge for me, I thought about it all week and made my card on Sunday morning!  I usually put my focal points more towards the bottom of a card and this was the opposite.  I contemplated which stamps to use, what paper...and finally just sat down and looked at my box of extras for inspiration.  That's when it clicked!

I had a card base in Old Olive already embossed with Vine Street EF from Sale-a-bration.  So, I thought floral would be the way to go.  I added in a polka dot designer paper from Nursery Nest DSP.  To give me a place to focus on building my floral arrangement I cut a doily in half and placed it at the top of the card.  I added in flowers and leaves from the Secret Garden Bundle.

As in the past, I heat embossed the flowers in white then used an aqua painter and re-inkers to color them.  Lastly I added in the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I hope you will join us at Technostamper for this week's challenge.

Sure don't look like you struggled with the sketch at all--just as beautiful as always. Love those soft pink flowers. And you always make those doilies work! By the way--I made a card for Flashback Friday this week--Hope you don't mind me playing along with your idea. I have it linking back to you. Thanks for the beautiful card for my sketch challenge!
