See It Again Saturday: Secret Garden

Time to re-make a card layout on See it Again Saturday!  Today's card is a re-make of my card from Thursday's Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge.  Go here to see the original post.  This is the original card layout that I used.

I loved how this layout of the flowers looked, so I re-did it with different colors and changed up the flowers and greeting.

I went back to my favorite color, Pool Party, for the base card.  It's embossed with the Honeycomb EF, same as the original.  I die cut leaves from Certainly Celery cs and layered them on the card first.  Next, I added in my heat embossed flowers that were water colored with re-inkers and an Aqua Painter.  TIP: when you are embossing flowers like these, do a bunch at one time.  I will stamp and heat embossed a half sheet of cs of each flower each time and then I always have flowers ready to color!  Here's a close up of the flowers.

As always, I added pearls to the centers of the flowers for the finishing touch.  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes ( I use this set a lot as you can tell ) die cut with a Bitty Banners Framelit.  I am really loving the soft pastels right now, so this card is right up my alley!  I hope you like it as much as I do!!
