Flashback Friday: When I Grow Up

Welcome to Flashback Friday!! This week we travel back to 2005 for the set When I Grow up.  Here's a quick look at the set.

This is such a cute set, so I pulled it out to make a Father's Day card for this week's flashback.

I made the layout simple.  The Crumb Cake base card is embossed with the Argyle EF.  I added in a piece of retired DSP with Soft Suede CS behind it.  I stamped the greeting directly on the DSP with Soft Suede ink.  The image of the little boy was stamped with Soft Suede ink on Glossy CS then colored in with markers and a blender pen.  I cut the boy out by hand and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

Here's a better look at the boy.  I kept to the same colors as the DSP, using browns, blues, and grey.
