Flashback Friday: By Sea

Welcome to Flashback Friday!! Sorry I missed the last two weeks, been a bit busy around here!  But today I do have a new Flashback card to share so let's get going!  This week I am featuring a Definitely Decorative stamp set from the 2006 Summer Mini Catalog call By Sea.

This is such a cute set!  There were three sets featured together.  By Land, By Sea, and By Air.  All three are super cute and lots of fun to work with.  Here is the card I made with By Sea.

How fun is this card?!  I used a lot of current products, here's the details:

1.  Used Crumb Cake as my card base.  Added a layer of Whisper White embossed with the Chevron EF.

2.  Added 3 banners with the Polka Dot Parade DSP.  Each banner is 1 1/4" x 5".   I used the Hexagon punch to make the banner at the bottom.

3.  I stamped the submarine with Smokey Slate.  The bubbles were made by stamping off once using Marina Mist.  A Pumpkin Pie fish was stamped above the submarine.  I also stamped two fish on a piece of Whisper White to cut out and add with dimensionals to the card.

4.  The submarine was die cut with the largest die from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I added the Happy Birthday from You're My Hero in Marina Mist under the submarine.

5.  I adhered the die cut to the card base then used my paper snips to trim off the edges hanging over.

That's it!  This was a pretty quick card together, I love the updated look!  Be sure to check back tomorrow.  I have a Rev Up the Fun card to share for the Saturday Summer Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.  I am super excited to be Guest Designer this week for their Summer Collection 2013.  It's not to late to sign up to have access to the amazing projects and cards in this collection.  Just head over to Create with Connie and Mary for all the details.

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
