Wood You Be Mine?

It's Monday and time for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!!  As always Mary Jo has a fun sketch for us, take a look.

I took a little liberty with this sketch and came up with a fun Valentine using Wood You Be Mine.

I just LOVE this stamp set, it couldn't be cuter!!  In place of a rectangular design to the side of the circle, I put the lumberjack!!  I just had too much fun making this card!!

The Early Espresso card base was embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder then a piece of Adventure Bound Designer paper was added to the bottom.  Trees stamped with Garden Green ink on Garden Green cardstock were added behind the lumberjack and sentiment.

The lumberjack was stamped on Whisper White then colored with blendabilities and fussy cut.   The sentiment was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut with a Starburst framelit.  Last element was an ax that was done the same as the lumberjack, colored then fussy cut.  This turned out to be a really fun Valentine, not your typical pink and red hearts type card!

Now, how about more inspiration??  You can find all the details about the challenge plus more wonderful samples from the Design Team at Technostamper.  I hope you'll join us!

This is by far my favorite card with this set so far. What a brilliant idea to use this for this sketch. Worked perfectly. Awesome job as always. Thanks so much for being part of the TSSC team.
