Best Day Ever!

It's Thursday and time for a challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  This week is a really fun sketch, take a look.

The first thing I did was pull out my designer papers.  The Best Year Ever Sale-a-bration set stood out to me, so I pulled several designs to work with.

Coastal Cabana and Pool Party are two of my favorite colors, so I naturally gravitated to them.  The card base is Pool Party with a layer Whisper White with the sentiment in the lower left.  Next, a strip of the gorgeous bokeh style designer paper went along the top.  A couple of banners of designer paper were next followed by Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Sale-a-bration accessory set.

I didn't want to leave the banners plain, so I layered a couple of flowers from Best Day Ever and added a pearl to the center.

This was such a fun card to make and could easily be done in any greeting and any type of paper...way cool!  I hope you are feeling inspired now!  You can find all of the challenge details plus more great samples from the Design Team at Create with Connie and Mary.

We are also in our third week of the Spring Collection 2015.  There are soooo many wonderful projects and cards, you don't want to miss it!  All of the details are at Create with Connie and Mary.

Thanks for visiting!! Happy Stamping!!
